In the south of Jahrom city over the beautiful hill can be seen the remains of very old building with arcade and numerous naves that overlooks the whole city of Jahrom.
It belongs to Sassanid era and it has been under repair by cultural heritage organization in recent years. This is one of the touristic attractions of Jahrom.
It is said, Ghadamgah is one of the temples of Anahita allocated to women.
The fire temple is a building the same as naves of mosques and has some arches toward north; in the middle and back of the arches is a covered area; in this area over the rocky castle there are some carving images and as a result it gave the name of Ghadamgah to this building.
Above the doorway of one of the eastern rooms has been installed a stone and there is written some poems of Hakim Saraie, the famous poet of Jahrom; in this poems the building is considered as fire temple.
The tomb of Barbod is situated next to the fire temple. He was musician, poet, singerand lute player of Sassanid period during Khosroparviz ...see more kingdom.
