At the distance of 20 kilometres of Abar Kouh and in depth of 9 kilometers of Abar Kouh road toward yazd, there is a dam called “Kaseh Roud” which is one of those beautiful natural attractions distinguishing Abar Kouh desert from others.
kaseh roud Dam has been called (labelled) the desert’s jewel. This dam has been built with the aim of controlling the district’s floodwater and preventing damages to transformational road of yazd to shiraz.
Kaseh Roud River has water in some months in a year, it can provide source of water especially for the people in the east of Abar Kouh. This design is able to control nearly four million cubic meters surface-water of the area, and in case of more actions for water Transportation, most of the problems related to people and existing industry will be solved.
