Gol Khandan-e Jadid is a village in Gol Khandan Rural District, in the Bumehen District of Pardis County, Tehran Province, Iran.
golkhandan castle is located at the top of a hill and at the junction of two rivers. The inside building of the castle has been ruined, the only thing remained, is its walls with the approximate height of 20 meters.
In “Jaibolseir”, the book written by Ghiasedin Mohammad khan Mir is said that, Shah Ismail ( safavid king) had come to this place for the repression of Amir Hossein Kia Chalavi; after capturing the fortress, he demolished it and beheaded its residents.
Ghale Gol Khandan (Gol Khandan castle) has been registered in 2000 at Iran Heritage List.
