Hajjoneh
People across Iran have their own beliefs. People in Savadkuh region in Mazandaran have a belief called Hajjoneh.
Hajjoneh is a deed like benefaction or charity by ordinary people.
People in Savadkuh city, in center of Mazandaran Province, believe that they should give charity portion of the following items:
1- If a farmer who owns rice fields harvests good crops at the end of the season, it means the amount increases twice.
He should do Hajj pilgrimage.
2- If a person unearths a treasure such as gold, gems, or antiquities.
3- When a farmer owns a rice field and the rice plants shrinks or wraps, he should do Hajj pilgrimage.
4- A person whose cow gives twin birth.
5- When a person who owns a herd of cows and he finds 10 to 15 cows with the same color standing aside the other day morning. He should do Hajj pilgrimage.
6- Owning a storehouse of wheat which turns into rice ...see more storehouse.
7- A person whose whole yogurt in Telem (a wooden craft to get butter from milk and yogurt) turns into butter should do the Hajj pilgrimage.

People of Savadkuh believe when the person do not observe these principles, he may lose whatever he owns or earns.
